Theta Pi Sigma is an all-inclusive queer and gender neutral Greek organization founded at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2005.

The purpose and objective of Theta Pi Sigma is to strengthen Greek life by providing a vehicle for positive leadership, change, and growth in the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, intersex, queer, questioning, and ally community. It is our intention to provide further opportunity to obtain a well-rounded educational experience by offering leadership skills and the atmosphere needed to succeed academically, socially, and culturally.

Interested in joining?
There are many advantages of joining a Greek organization, and Theta Pi Sigma is different from any other! We are the first gender-neutral Greek club, with a strong commitment to being involved with the GLBTQQIA community.  We are an all-encompassing organization that accepts members regardless of their sexual or gender identity.

Once you have joined the Theta Pi Sigma family, you will become part of a close-knit social group; one that pushes members to make new friends through our many socials and events we host. The possibilities are endless: leadership opportunities, lasting friendships, and multiple ways to get involved with the Santa Cruz community through our philanthropy projects.

Each year, our Chapters have the ability to Rush twice. Check out each respective Chapter’s page to find out when they are planning on Rushing next!

“How Do I Learn More?”
Talk to any of our members! The best way to get involved is by contacting any member of Theta Pi Sigma. If you want to experience the organization first hand, going to Rush Week is the ideal place for you. Rush Week is a time to wet your feet and learn more about Theta Pi Sigma in order to see if the organization is right for you.
